Avocado pizza and pesto pizza

Basil is a smell that awakens the senses, children don’t really adore it too much to eat it raw in a salad, but they love a pizza that I prepare with pesto, which I process into a pestle. I coat the pizza dough with pesto and add onions and cherry tomatoes.
I heat the oven to 250 C and when I put the pizza to bake then I reduce it to 220, bake for about 15 minutes.

Dough

Ingredients

 

500gr  flour
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
a bag of yeast
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar
250-350 ml warm water as needed, the dough should be soft.

 

 

Pesto

100 g sunflower seeds
fresh basil
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 dl Extra virgin olive oil
100 g finely grated parmesan
salt
black pepper
Roast sunflower seeds in a dry frying pan and mix them together with basil leaves, garlic and olive oil in a mortar.
Add the parmesan cheese and salt and pepper.
Homemade pesto is extra tasty and easy to make, specially good as a sauce for pasta.

Another great pizza option is zucchini and avocado, both can be vegan if parmesan is replaced with vegetable cheese.
